R Energy1 was established in July 2011 by the younger generation of the Rokas Group, and has since been constructing and operating renewable energy sources facilities, focusing on solar and wind energy. In December 2022, the operations of R Energy 1 were transferred to R Energy1 Holdings, which has since become the parent company of the Group.
Since its inception, the Group has created a strong development platform in Greece, with a portfolio of photovoltaic and wind farms situated on strategic (high irradiation - wind rich) locations around Greece, in areas such as Corinth, Zakynthos, Thiva, Larissa, Magnesia, Viotia and Kozani. This includes the largest solar park in operation in Stefani-Corinth, with an installed capacity of 10 MW.
It has successfully executed an investment plan totaling around €105 million, resulting in a total installed capacity of 70 MW across 95 PV and wind parks.
The growth trajectory of R Energy1 Holdings remains robust, with its investment program advancing at an intensive pace. The Group is targeting over 350 MW of installed capacity by YE2030 while holding licenses for storage projects totaling 400 MW. In this context, new wind and photovoltaic parks, together with these storage projects, are actively being designed and developed.
