Athens, 20 April 2023 – VENSYS Energy AG -German wind turbine manufacturer and member of the Goldwind Group – has secured its first order in Greece, reaching an agreement with R-ENERGY 1 Holding to supply the wind turbines for the wind farm in Boeotia, with a total capacity of 8.2 MW.
More specifically, the contract includes the supply and installation of 2 VENSYS 115- 4.1 MW wind turbines with a maximum generating capacity of 4.1 MW each, as well as a 10-year management and maintenance agreement, with the possibility of extension for an additional 10 years.
Installation is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2023, while commissioning is planned for the third quarter of 2024.
