10MW PV Park in Stefani, Corinthia, Greece
The largest operating PV park of R Energy 1 was inaugurated in Corinthia by the Greek Prime Minister K. Mitsotakis on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021.
The inauguration of the Photovoltaic Park of total capacity of 10MW located in Stefani – Corinthia, which is the largest PV park in operation in the Peloponnese region and the second largest in our country, connected to an autonomous network, was crowned with success. The park was inaugurated by the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in the presence of the Secretary General for Energy & Mineral Resources at Ministry for the Environment and Energy, Mrs. Alexandra Sdoukou, as well as several Ministers and distinguished figures.
The Greek Prime Minister, accompanied by the President and CEO of R Energy 1, Mr. Georgios M. Rokas, had the opportunity to take a tour at the PV park and be informed about the characteristics of the new power station. The Prime Minister also visited the Renewable Resources of Energy classrooms, created by R Energy 1, aiming to provide knowledge to the children of the region about the renewable energy sources and their benefits in protecting the environment. Mr. Mitsotakis expressed with particularly warm words his satisfaction of the company’s course over the years, while he showed great interest in the social implications and benefits of these projects to local communities.
